Even if I weren't an instructor, however, that sort of thing is not any of your business. There's getting to know someone to be on equal footing, sure, some have tried that already – but these sorts of preferences are irrelevant and won't give you the one-up you're hoping for.

One last question. Why me? Not in the general sense, but why me and Tamamori-kun? If you had enrolled Minakami instead, he would be thanking you from morning to dusk.
