That aside, I don't see how you being an instructor matters. You wouldn't be the first teacher to "fraternize" with their students, and after kidnapping us, it wouldn't really be a stretch at all.

You're claiming to have some semblance of moral and ethics, is that it?

Even if I weren't an instructor, however, that sort of thing is not any of your business. There's getting to know someone to be on equal footing, sure, some have tried that already – but these sorts of preferences are irrelevant and won't give you the one-up you're hoping for.
